I believe now, more than ever we need to come together in sacred circles like our ancestors once did and share our medicine and feminine secrets.

As Black women, in America we are one of the most educated groups and also the fastest growing group of entrepreneurs. This country was also built on her backs, breastmilk and blood.

Yet Black women have the highest infant mortality rate and are more likely to die from intimate partner violence.

We hold trauma in our bodies and in our wombs making us more likely to develop fibroids, and to develop larger ones at a younger age with more severe symptoms.

Black women also have higher rates of weathering, chronic accumulation of stress in the body. Our bodies, our wombs and our hearts bear too much. The arms of lovers and hospital beds too often turn into embraces of death.

But what if there was another way?What if we came together so that not only we survive but THRIVE?!

During the Black Goddess Awakening Summit we will hear from Black women experts, healers, coaches and artists as they share their wisdom and sacred practices to usher us into an era of healing and empowerment.

Lady Shepsa Jones is a teacher, author, life coach, mother and “juju woman”—one who taps into her magical powers for healing and manifestation. As a sacred femininity healer, she helps women connect to the healing power of their sexual energy so they live deeply nourished, orgasmic and powerful lives.

She has spent over 18 years studying the spiritual sciences of the African Diaspora, China and India. Through the study of Tantra and sacred sexuality, Shepsa has reconnected to the goddess within her and assists other women to do the same in her coaching programs and retreats. She has published 6 books including her best selling self-help book, Nice For What?! How To Go From Being a Good Girl To a Badass Goddess.

Shepsa is a budding herbalist who studied under Empress Karen Rose in the Sacred Vibes Apprenticeship, certified Sacred Femininity Facilitator from Tao Tantra Arts and certified Universal Healing Tao Instructor. Shepsa is also a licensed massage therapist. Through her company Let Go Let Goddess she guides women on a journey to their highest self, their inner goddess to discover a life of bliss.
